User Data Deletion
You can ask LENK to delete your data at any time. This page explains how to request it, what gets deleted, and how data received from Facebook or Instagram is removed.
1. How to request deletion
Send your request in either of these ways:
- Email privacy@link.bi from the email address on your LENK account, with the subject “Delete my data”. Include your page link, for example link.bi/yourname.
- Or, while signed in, open Support in your dashboard (link.bi/dashboard/support) and write “Delete my account and data”.
2. What we delete
After we confirm that the request comes from the account owner, we delete the account and everything linked to it: profile details, pages, links, products, uploaded files, form responses, bookings, followers, analytics and the access tokens of any connected apps. We email you when it is done.
3. Data from Facebook and Instagram
LENK uses Facebook and Instagram only to show public Instagram profile details, such as the username, profile picture, follower count and recent public posts, on pages where the page owner chose to add them. LENK never asks for your Facebook or Instagram password and never posts on your behalf. To have this data removed:
- Page owners: remove the Instagram block from your page in Studio and save. The details stop being shown and are no longer fetched.
- If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to LENK, you can also remove LENK from Facebook (Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites) or from Instagram (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites). We then delete the access and the data we received through it.
- If your Instagram account appears on someone's LENK page and you want it removed, email privacy@link.bi with the page link and your Instagram username.
4. Timing and what may be kept
We complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email. Some records may be kept longer only where the law requires it, such as payment and tax records, and deleted content may remain temporarily in backups before secure expiry. These records are not used for anything else.
5. Visitors to LENK pages
If you filled in a form, booked a time or followed a page on LENK, the owner of that page controls those details. You can ask the page owner, or email privacy@link.bi and we will help. To stop follower emails right away, use the unfollow link at the bottom of any of them.
